Thankfulness on Thursday

Today I am thankful for…

Our trip to New York City and the time spent with my husband

My husband and the love we share, still, after all these years. He knows me best and loves me most and I still cannot comprehend why. He is so good to me and I love him so.

My mother-in-law staying with the boys while we were gone. They are pretty self sufficient but I’m thankful she was here to hold down the fort.

The happy welcome and suffocating hugs I received upon returning home.

Our book club meeting Monday night and the open honesty of our discussion. I love my church friends!

New glasses and much improved vision.

The conclusion of our study on 1 & 2 Thessalonians this morning and the truths we have learned over the last ten or eleven weeks. I am thankful for my fellow Bible students that have taken this journey alongside me. The teacher’s chair can be an intimidating seat so I’m all the more glad for my friends and sisters who encourage me by their singleminded determination to know the Lord and to seek Him in the study of His Word. The Lord’s been faithful to us!

What are you thankful for today?

I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart;
 I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.
I will be glad and exult in you;
 I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

  1. I'm thankful for do -overs. I accidentally deleted something I had put a lot of work into this morning, so I was so relieved when the live chat function of the web site resulted in getting my lost document back. So, so thankful!
