Lisa writes…2008: A Retrospective

Or, alternatively titled: Laziness in Blogging Reaches New Levels

A post I probably shouldn’t have written but did anyway

A post that took me many, many words to say exactly what Joy said in the comments, only she said it way better than me (of course) and in far fewer words

Two posts that were hard to write. Make that three.

The “Might as well laugh than cry” post

File under: Things I Forget

File under: Things I Want to Remember

The post in which I write of one of the more important things in life: Coffee

The post which shows I had no clue of what was to come. No clue here either.

In which I attempt to define myself

The first of 2008, soon to emulated by bloggers everywhere (all three or four) struggling to find something (anything!) to type

Melodrama at its best

Possibly the dumbest post I’ve ever written

My post with the all time highest comment count, forty (appropriately enough)

One of my favorites, so much so I posted it twice

A post that makes me wistful

And, finally, a post that helps me keep the main thing, the main thing, in blogging as in life

A bit of Lisa writes… trivia: this is my FIVE HUNDRED AND FIRST blog post!

  1. I remembered most of those posts as well – can’t believe it’s been that long! It wasn’t so long ago that I started reading the blog world (maybe just over a year?), and yours is only one of two I still check daily and wonder about in the meantime. Thanks for the review, and just so you know…. I loved the “dumbest post” the first time and now again! Merry Christmas!

  2. I’m an emulator of your status reports. They are a lifesaver in this blog eat blog world of what to write and try to be interesting. I have learned and enjoyed so much of your writing in these last 501 posts. Keep on blogging. I pray that your Christmas is joyful in Christ as you give thanks for family and friends and most of all, Jesus!
